Small Electrical Projects

At Blue Crest Electric Ltd., we are more than happy to help you with any of your electrical projects, problems, and needs. Below is a list of some of the smaller electrical jobs that you may require an electrician to do.

  1. Repair or replace light switches, outlets, and light bulbs.

  2. Change or replace light fixtures and ceiling fans.

  3. Replace burnt out light bulbs on both standard eight foot and vaulted ceilings.

  4. Swap out old light fixtures for new and improved.

  5. Upgrade CFL bulbs and fixtures to LEDs.

  6. Install or replace smoke alarms and c/o detectors.

  7. Troubleshoot dead outlets and flickering light fixtures.

  8. Pot light installation and replacement.

  9. And much more... We often receive calls from clients who don’t know who to call to do “smaller electrical projects” on the above list. Even if these projects seem insignificant, we still consider them important as they are the electrical needs of our clients. No electrical project is too insignificant if we can help our clients. Electricity, if not handled correctly, can be dangerous or even deadly. Call an electrician immediately if you are unfamiliar with the electrical task that you plan to do.

  8. And much more… Our electricians can also order new outlets and light switches in almost every colour imaginable, along with black and varying shades of white. While we can also supply LED and other light bulbs, one thing to keep in mind is that you can purchase assorted colour tones of light bulbs. Some lights can be whiter and cooler in tone, while others can be on the warmer and more yellow side of the Kelvin spectrum. Because every home is unique, you as the homeowner may want to purchase specific colour toned bulbs prior to the electrician’s arrival.

Chandeliers Since there are thousands of different light fixture designs with varying prices, we suggest that you select your preferred light fixture prior to the electrician’s scheduled service visit. Only you as the homeowner can accurately decide which designs and styles are best for your home. After all you will ultimately be the one who has to look at your home’s light fixtures. Our technicians have many years of helping clients with their renovations, we can definitely help if you would like suggestions on design.
